BEYOND THE PROGRAM

We are also a
community.

Outside of workshops, reports, and roundtables, SAYF is a group of young people who genuinely like each other. We plant trees, go to rallies, light up Parliament House, have picnics, and show up for the things that matter. This is what a SAYF space actually looks and feels like.

South Australian Youth Forum.

The South Australian Youth Forum acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of Australia’s Lands, Waters, and Skies.

Located on Kaurna Country, our Forum acknowledges the enduring connection Kaurna people share with the Adelaide region; and extends that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Nations across Australia. We pay our respects to all Elders, both past and present.

As we gather on unceded Sovereign Land, our Forum - comprised of Aboriginal youth and allies - aims to walk together in championing Indigenous voices. Our Forum maintains a firm commitment to truth-telling, listening, healing, and understanding; building a better ‘now’.
