Representing youth voices at the Department for Infrastructure and Transport Executive Roundtable, SAYF advocated for accessible, safe, and sustainable public transport across South Australia. Our team contributed directly to shaping the state's 30-year transport strategy, ensuring that young people's priorities are embedded in long-term planning from the outset.

South Australian Youth Forum.

The South Australian Youth Forum acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of Australia’s Lands, Waters, and Skies.

Located on Kaurna Country, our Forum acknowledges the enduring connection Kaurna people share with the Adelaide region; and extends that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Nations across Australia. We pay our respects to all Elders, both past and present.

As we gather on unceded Sovereign Land, our Forum - comprised of Aboriginal youth and allies - aims to walk together in championing Indigenous voices. Our Forum maintains a firm commitment to truth-telling, listening, healing, and understanding; building a better ‘now’.
