SHINE SA: SA Youth Forum consultation

SHINE SA came to us wanting to hear directly from young people about how their work lands.
Before the session, we worked with the SHINE SA team to shape the agenda and write the questions. This matters to make sure the conversation starts where the organisation actually needs answers, and our crew walks in with something real to respond to.
The one hour consultation covered a range of areas. First, how young people see SHINE SA as an organisation, including how school engagements land, what resonates, and whether SHINE feels like somewhere you could actually go. From there we moved into resources: the modules, worksheets, website and online content. What holds attention, what feels missing, what gets in the way of finding it in the first place, and where there might be room for something new like an app or a refreshed website.
Afterwards, SAYF delivered a written summary of the key themes from the session, along with practical recommendations for where to take things next.
This was a direct engagement through our pilot consultancy model using the youth-led option.
