Over three days, SAYF members participated as facilitators for interactive sessions with Year 10 students from across South Australia, exploring what active citizenship looks like in practice. Our founding director Amber delivered the keynote, sparking conversations on leadership, participation, and what it means to show up for your community as a young person.

The South Australian Youth Forum acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of Australia’s Lands, Waters, and Skies.

Located on Kaurna Country, our Forum acknowledges the enduring connection Kaurna people share with the Adelaide region; and extends that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Nations across Australia. We pay our respects to all Elders, both past and present.

As we gather on unceded Sovereign Land, our Forum - comprised of Aboriginal youth and allies - aims to walk together in championing Indigenous voices. Our Forum maintains a firm commitment to truth-telling, listening, healing, and understanding; building a better ‘now’.
